Are pre-order items refundable or returnable?
At Swallow Atelier, pre-order pieces are created only after purchase. This intentional production model allows us to reduce overproduction, minimize waste, and operate in a more sustainable and environmentally responsible way.
We kindly ask customers to purchase thoughtfully, as unnecessary returns increase carbon emissions, material waste, and production impact — which goes against our mission of conscious, small-batch creation.
However, we understand that flexibility matters. If you change your mind, we accept returns for store credit only within 28 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original condition.
If your pre-order item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery, and we will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

We accept returns and size exchanges within 14 days of delivery for refund, and within 28 days for store credit.

Because many of our products are made to order, returns or exchanges shipping costs for reasons such as incorrect sizing or change of mind are handled at the customer’s expense. This means return shipping costs are not covered in these cases.
